What to expect
- From the riverside scenery to the historic vineyards of the Sousa Valley, this is a journey through the flavours, traditions and landscapes of northern Portugal.
- Aboard a classic VW, we drive along the banks of the Douro, passing places such as Senhora do Salto, Quintandona, the Monte Mozinho Castro and the Paço de Sousa Monastery.
- Halfway along the route, a lunch break at the regional restaurant O Sousa, where the table is filled with typical dishes and local hospitality.
- In the afternoon, the famous Quinta da Aveleda opens its doors for a guided tour of its historic gardens and emblematic green wines - a sensory and cultural experience in the heart of the region.
- The return is via Penafiel, with time for a leisurely stroll before the direct journey back to Porto.
- Ideal for those who appreciate nature, tradition, history and a good glass of wine.

- Children up to 7 years old: free travel (max. 2 per booking).
- Children from 4 to 12 years old: half price in the restaurant and visit to the gardens. Quinta da Aveleda.
- Vinho Verde tasting: only for people over 18.
- Languages available: Portuguese and English.
- Reservations: recommended in advance.
- Footwear: comfortable, suitable for walking on pavements and in gardens.
- During the summer: the use of sun cream and a hat is recommended.
